Options Dialog
There are a number of options that define the way CryptoDisk operates. You can modify them any time you wish. Click the Tools -> Options menu item to activate Options Dialog.
Startup
- Run CryptoDisk on Windows startup - When checked, CryptoDisk launches on Windows startup
- Mount volumes marked to mount automatically - When checked, CryptoDisk mounts volumes automatically on program start
Mount options
- Open Explorer window for mounted volume - When checked, CryptoDisk automatically opens Explorer window showing the root directory of the volume (e.g., E:\)
Notification Area
- Always display Notification Area Icon - When checked, CryptoDisk puts an icon in the Notification Area
- Minimize to the Notification Area - When checked, CryptoDisk minimizes to the Notification Area instead of the Windows taskbar
- Minimize window when the Close button is selected - When the Close button on the window title is clicked, CryptoDisk minimizes its window
Hotkeys
- Dismount all hotkey - System-wide CryptoDisk hotkey, dismounts all mounted volumes at once
- Force dismount all hotkey - System-wide CryptoDisk hotkey, dismounts all mounted volumes at once, even if the volume(s) contain files used by other applications or system (not recommended)
- Show/hide window hotkey - System-wide CryptoDisk hotkey, allows to show or hide main program window
Note: System-wide Hotkeys work only when CryptoDisk is running.
